First location of Mision Chaquena. When the Rio Bermejo rose in the early 1900's, the mission was forced to move several kilometers away to its current site.
Wichi artist Reynaldo Prado hard at work painting a mural of plant and animal life found in tribal areas of N. Argentina. This work was done in 2005 in conjunction with the Siwok Foundation for a musuem being created by Anglicans to help preserve indigenous ways of life.

Bishop Mario Morino, auxiliary bishop of N. Argentina. Bishop Morino is the only auxiliary bishop in the diocese and is the first indigenous (Wichi) bishop the diocese has had. He lives in Bario Wichi, Juarez, with his wife and family.
